Service Description

This 4 day camp meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-1:30pm. Participants will be divided into age appropriate cohorts (7-12 and 12-16) with dedicated instructors. Kids will be guided through the process of working with clay on the potters wheel. New skills will be taught daily to advance skills and learn. Programming will be fun. Specific skills will include: wheel throwing, centering, opening, raising walls and trimming. We will fire one piece for each student at the end of the course and the students can come back to glaze their pieces after the class (10 days later) at no additional charge Each week will focus on a specific project that will work toward completion and firing when the pieces are ready. After the pieces are fired (following summer camp week) kids will have the opportunity to return with a parent to glaze their pieces in the cafe or have our staff dip glaze their piece at a cost of $35. *No previous skills are required for this summer camp

Upcoming Sessions

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy CLASSES and WORKSHOPS: Refunds for classes and workshops are welcomed up to 15 days before the start of that class, minus a 10% administrative fee (or you can opt to receive a full refund as store credit). No refunds are given within 15 days of the start of the class or session, or after a class has started. In the event that a class has less than 3 students, we will offer to reschedule the class and or offer a private lesson for an incremental cost. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather conditions or a power outage may force us to close the studio and/or cancel classes. In these circumstances, we will notify students via email as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule the cancelled classes, but this is not always possible and we cannot make any guarantees regarding rescheduled or replacement classes. Note for all our classes: we are committed to giving you a fun and fulfilling pottery experience, but not necessarily a physical piece of pottery. Although we hope you'll end up making something you love, it doesn't always work out. Pottery is a dynamic material, and even the most skilled potter has failures coming out of the kiln. Although it is our goal for everyone to have a tangible result at the end of a class or workshop, sometimes there are factors that prevent this from happening: such as kiln mishaps, misplaced or mislabeled pieces, breakage, and communication issues. Due to space restrictions, we can only hold pottery for one month after it is completed. If you haven't heard from us within one month of the completion of your class or workshop, please get in touch ASAP. CERAMICS and OTHER GOODS: Returns or exchanges on physical merchandise are accepted at our location within 14 days of purchase. Items must be undamaged and unused. You are responsible for safely packing the item and bring it back to us at our store in, Seattle.
