Service Description

This program is designed for the SPU Ceramics Group to provide affordable access to our pottery studio resources. We're providing the tools, firing, glaze and underglaze and studio as well as shelf space and you'll purchase clay to practice your art (no outside clay or glaze is allowed in the studio.) The studio will be open from 8:30PM-10:30PM on Monday's for this 5 week program. Monika will be providing instruction during this time. Participants in these sessions will have access to the studio to practice for up to 4 hours per week between 9am and 2pm Tuesday through Friday. *No experience is required for this class

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy CLASSES and WORKSHOPS: Refunds for 6 week classes and workshops are welcomed up to 15 days before the start of that class, minus a 10% administrative fee (or you can opt to receive a full refund as store credit). No refunds are given within 15 days of the start of the class or session, or after a class has started. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather conditions or a power outage may force us to close the studio and/or cancel classes. In these circumstances, we will notify students via email as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule the cancelled classes, but this is not always possible and we cannot make any guarantees regarding rescheduled or replacement classes. Note for all our classes: we are committed to giving you a fun and fulfilling pottery experience, but not necessarily a physical piece of pottery. Although we hope you'll end up making something you love, it doesn't always work out. Pottery is a dynamic material, and even the most skilled potter has failures coming out of the kiln. Although it is our goal for everyone to have a tangible result at the end of a class or workshop, sometimes there are factors that prevent this from happening: such as kiln mishaps, misplaced or mislabeled pieces, breakage, and communication issues. Due to space restrictions, we can only hold pottery for one month after it is completed. If you haven't heard from us within one month of the completion of your class or workshop, please get in touch ASAP. CERAMICS and OTHER GOODS: Returns or exchanges on physical merchandise are accepted at our location within 14 days of purchase. Items must be undamaged and unused. You are responsible for safely packing the item and bring it back to us at our store in, Seattle.
