After School Wheel — November 4-Week Program
Available spots
Service Description
Join us at Wet Clay Café for our four-week After-School Wheel Throwing program for ages 10 and up! Classes meet on Wednesdays only: November 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2026, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. Price: $300 for all four weeks. Students will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing, including centering clay, shaping pottery, and creating their own ceramic pieces. Each week, students will develop their skills, explore creativity, and gain confidence working with clay. Finished pieces will be glazed and fired, ready to take home. Optional full meal available for an additional fee, with choices including pizza, panini, or grilled cheese sandwiches. Space is limited—advance registration required. Age Requirement and Registration Policy: This program is exclusively for children ages 10 and older. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child meets the age requirement before registering. Registrations for children under age 10 cannot be accommodated. Refunds for ineligible registrations are subject to Wet Clay Café’s published cancellation and refund policy.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy CLASSES and WORKSHOPS: Refunds for classes and workshops are welcomed up to 15 days before the start of that class, minus a 10% administrative fee (or you can opt to receive a full refund as store credit). No refunds are given within 15 days of the start of the class or session, or after a class has started. In the event that a class has less than 3 students, we will offer to reschedule the class and or offer a private lesson for an incremental cost. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather conditions or a power outage may force us to close the studio and/or cancel classes. In these circumstances, we will notify students via email as soon as possible. We will do our best to reschedule the cancelled classes, but this is not always possible and we cannot make any guarantees regarding rescheduled or replacement classes. Note for all our classes: we are committed to giving you a fun and fulfilling pottery experience, but not necessarily a physical piece of pottery. Although we hope you'll end up making something you love, it doesn't always work out. Pottery is a dynamic material, and even the most skilled potter has failures coming out of the kiln. Although it is our goal for everyone to have a tangible result at the end of a class or workshop, sometimes there are factors that prevent this from happening: such as kiln mishaps, misplaced or mislabeled pieces, breakage, and communication issues. Due to space restrictions, we can only hold pottery for one month after it is completed. If you haven't heard from us within one month of the completion of your class or workshop, please get in touch ASAP. CERAMICS and OTHER GOODS: Returns or exchanges on physical merchandise are accepted at our location within 14 days of purchase. Items must be undamaged and unused. You are responsible for safely packing the item and bring it back to us at our store in, Seattle.
